I went to the doctor yesterday. I got my second dose of Hepatitis B vaccine. My blood tests show that I have immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and
Varicella (Chicken Pox). I still have to get one more dose of Hepatitis B vaccine in 5 months and then a blood test to prove immunity. Two more needle sticks to go...
If your blood titer shows that you are immune, why do you need to get the vaccine?
ReplyDeleteI didn't get a titre for Hepatitis B.
ReplyDeleteI have to complete the vaccination schedule for Hepatitis B and then get a titre to confirm that it gave me immunity.
The immunization schedule I'm on, consiststs of 3 doses at 0, 1 and 6 months.
I sure wish I could spell check my comments.
