...you're all happy when you realize that you can be 3 hours late for work on Monday. I have to get my second Hepatitis B shot tomorrow and find out if my blood tests confirm that I have immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella and the Chicken Pox.
For those who haven't had the pleasure, a Hepatitis B Vaccination requires three injections over a period of six months...

All I remember is those HepB shots hurt like a MO-FO.

ReplyDeleteI had blood drawn a week ago to determine my antibodies...I got all of the results back for them except for the HepB...
I do not want to get blood drawn again (see my post: Stick It).

ReplyDeleteThe Hep B shot wasn't so bad for me. The shot for Tetanus/Diptheria/Pertusis made my arm sore for about a week.

I don't enjoy any activities that involve me bleeding. I read your "Stick it" post and it reminded me of one of my friends. I showed her a photographic atlas of human anatomy once and she thought all of those dissections were cool. If you show her a needle, and she knows it's for her, she's goes down like a sack of potatoes.
