Shiny new books

I bought the textbooks I'll need for second semeter. They're shiny.

    Mine won't be shiny for long. I beat the hell out of my books. Almost all of the one's from first semester are now being held together with tape.

    Beaten up books are good, it means they were worth it. At $90/book, you'd hope you actually needed them for your classes. Unfortunately, I still have some 'shiny' books. Don't know why I had to buy them.

    I have a book from first semester that I barely used. I'm glad I bought that one used.
