I don't know of another way to put it; That's how it was told to me when I learned manual B/P in my CNA classes a few years ago by every single nurse I asked (the instructor, my mom, aunts, co-workers). <BR/><BR/>It takes a while to know what to feel for, but after that you'll get it dead on every time. <BR/><BR/>I wonder if it could be possible that you just have a weak or thready pulse?
